Nice, but not an encasement.
This is a nice mattress protector that I purchased to put on my son's new bed. It is very smooth and would fit a very thick mattress which my son does not have. Because it is not a tight fit, it is a little baggy. It does work great and I did test it with pouring some water on it. The water did not soak through at all. I was a little disappointed that it does not truly encase the mattress. How can the mattress truly be protected by all the things they claim if it is not fully covered? For the purpose of protecting the top of the mattress from liquid it is great and for that I would buy it again. I still need to buy an encasement cover for allergies though. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
